This on-line self-study program is intended for use by child care professionals that need additional training hours.  The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services allows a portion of the required annual training be self-study, provided that the individual obtain a comprehensive understanding of the materials. 

To complete this self-study module, participants should spend time reading and understanding the materials in the article (see link below).  A test containing multiple choice and essay questions will then be taken and automatically forwarded to AACPSG.  A certificate of completion will be mailed to the Member providing a passing score of 85% or better is obtained.  Non-Members may use this resource for a fee of $10.00 per training certificate.  Fees must be paid prior to receiving a certificate of completion (mail fee to PO Box 175434, Arlington TX 76003).

The articles will change quarterly allowing up to an additional 8 hours of training per year.
